This is an exciting opportunity to join the friendly Pharmacy Department at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. You will play a vital role in providing advice, support & guidance for medical & nursing staff at community hospitals and on mental health wards to optimise the use of medicines & ensure standardisation of medicines processes & policies.

Specifically, you will contribute to health care teams by detecting and resolving or preventing drug related problems; helping to ensure the safe and efficacious use of medicines; providing comprehensive drug information to patients and other health care professionals; promoting medication adherence; and reinforcing health promotion.

This will be a varied, interesting and rewarding role which will provide you with the opportunity to input into Community Hospital and Mental Health Ward services and Community Mental Health Teams.

A strong team spirit and good communication skills will be required, teamed with the sensitivity to work directly with patients.
