Main Theatres is a diverse area to work as it incorporates general surgery, vascular, urology, colorectal, breast, head & neck (ENT and Maxillo-facial) theatres. The vascular Theatre has plenty of directions to move your career through experience and development within the trust.

The Division has a dedicated practice development team who are passionate about providing bespoke modules that develop the theatre team within their specialism, these modules progress from novice to expert within the specialty.

We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic and motivated professional theatre practitioners who are looking to further their career and seek out a new challenge. You will be flexible, adaptable and willing to maintain our pace and drive possessing robust communication skills that enable you to be a real team player. In order to provide the finest possible care, we aim to attract, train and provide on-going support to the right people who can join our existing team of highly skilled professionals, all of whom are committed to making a positive difference to our patients. Whether you are an experienced scrub Nurse or registered ODP, you will receive support, guidance and experienced mentoring throughout your development as a theatre practitioner. All staff are required to participate in the nights or standby “commitment for emergency surgery” and out of hours rota covering 24/7 that would also include weekends and late shift patterns. Above all we need professionals with a “can do ” attitude who will deliver high quality services with care, compassion, courage, communication, competence and commitment.
