University of Northampton has spaces on their Adult Nursing course

October 17, 2017

If you show UON that you have the care, compassion, courage, commitment and communication skills that they need to support and work with adults in nursing they will work with you to develop the competence to do so.

Their three year undergraduate nursing course will give you the ability to cope with a demanding and satisfying profession leading to BSc Adult Nursing (Hons) and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). The course is structured to give you a strong foundation in adult nursing with skills based upon the theory taught at the University and clinical placements.

Starting university is a big step and UON want you to have everything you need from day one. That’s why if you choose to study this course full-time at Northampton from September 2018, you will be provided with your own brand new Hewlett Packard laptop to keep at no additional cost. For more information on this and many other benefits you can enjoy, please visit UON’s benefits webpages.

The University is now a part of a well-established, professional European network for Nursing and Midwifery. The Florence Network offers opportunities for future health careers and development to staff, academics and students. For more information go to the Florence Network google site.

‘Being Brilliant’ at Northampton focuses on ways of thinking and behaving that allows UON to be the best version of themselves.  To develop a culture where all students and staff aspire to be the best that they can be, the principles are simple and focus on small changes in behaviour that can have a big impact.

If you have the capabilities and compassion to study to become an Adult nurse, UON want to hear from you!

They have intakes in both September/October and February/March each year.
